Happy Friday, didn’t want to cook at home. So after leaving the office in Central, I went to this Nordic-style restaurant in SoHo. The restaurant has soft lighting and a spacious feel. On nice days, you can dine in the outdoor area, which is very relaxing. The restaurant offers handmade pasta 🍝, Nordic-style brunch, baked goods, and coffee ☕️.
The Norwegian Fish Soup has a light creamy flavor. The soup contains whole pieces of salmon, potato 🥔 cubes, carrot 🥕 cubes, etc., which are nutritious and filling. Dill is added, which not only serves as decoration but also enhances the aroma of the soup.
The Roasted Beef Toast has tender beef. The toast is crispy. The salad dressing is smooth and slightly sweet, perfectly matching the rich and chewy sun-dried tomatoes. In addition, a few strips of arugula, commonly found in sandwiches 🥪 and salads, are added.
Pesto Cream Chicken Fusilli is one of the restaurant’s handmade pasta dishes. The Italian pesto is fresh and healthy. The fusilli holds the sauce well. The crunchy pine nuts add richness to the overall texture. The chicken 🐓 is tender.
The Peanut Butter Brownies have a rich chocolate 🍫 flavor, with a soft, chewy, and moist texture. I’ve had brownies many times before, but pairing them with salty and savory peanut 🥜 butter is a first, and the taste is surprisingly good!
