🏠 Stayed in a Lanai Room on the ground floor, garden side. The room was clean, and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable. Towels and bathrobes were new and clean (it seems the hotel has improved based on previous feedback).
🍴 Breakfast was quite varied. On the first day, I dined at the main restaurant, and on the second day, I used club benefits to dine at Benjarong restaurant. The club side offered fresh orange juice (which I loved), lychee juice, and sparkling wine. Overall, the food was satisfying and delicious.
🏡 Personally, I enjoyed the hotel's atmosphere. There’s plenty of greenery to walk around. The weather during my stay was overcast, so it wasn’t too hot.
🏖 The beach in front of the hotel is great for kids to play in the sand during both high and low tide. Even during high tide, there’s a sandy area with beach chairs for relaxing. On Saturday night at around 9 PM, there was a fire show on the beach near Nomada restaurant.
🏊♀️ The swimming pool is large but exposed to sunlight all day. During midday, it can get too hot, but the advantage is that the water stays warm in the evening, making it comfortable for swimming. On Saturday evening, there was Aqua Aerobic, which was a light exercise activity. The hotel also offers other wellness activities like jogging, yoga, and fit ball. Upon check-in, staff provide a schedule of these activities.
🛝 The kids' club is small and outdated, but staff mentioned it’s undergoing renovation. On Saturday, there was an art activity at the stable near the spa, where kids could do various crafts like painting bags or gel candles, with fees based on the chosen activity.
🐐 There’s a small farm for kids to visit, featuring goats, egg collection, and turtles. Though the farm is small, it’s clean, and the caretakers explain things well. My daughter enjoyed playing with the goats every day during our two-day stay 🤣 (It’s really small, so don’t expect much).
👩 The service was excellent across all areas. Staff were friendly and genuinely willing to assist. A lovely touch was when I casually mentioned to staff that we usually visit in early October for my child’s birthday but came earlier this year due to other plans. The next day, the hotel surprised my child with a birthday cake, which made her very happy.
🥇 My favorite part, which I use almost every time I visit, is the spa. The massages are excellent. I opted for the club benefits package because it included a buy-one-get-one-free spa deal. If you have time, I highly recommend trying it—it’s very relaxing.
⚠️ Currently, the club lounge is operating at the Polo Bar due to renovations upstairs. While the drinks were fine, I personally felt the food and snacks could be improved.
Overall, I loved the peaceful atmosphere, lack of crowds, the beach for walking, good food, and excellent service. It’s a place for relaxation rather than taking picturesque photos. The rooms may have an older style due to the hotel’s age, but they’re clean. It was a happy trip.
