📸 King Taksin Memorial Stupa

🎗️ This memorial is located at the mouth of the Jolo River (Khlong Tha Lat), Chachoengsao Province. It was built to commemorate the great kindness of King Taksin the Great who restored independence for the Thai nation. After breaking through the Burmese siege from Ayutthaya, he marched his army through Chachoengsao Province and clashed with the Burmese at the mouth of the Jolo River. With his wisdom, he was able to defeat the Burmese and built a pagoda to commemorate that victory.

Today, this memorial is an important historical site and is highly revered by the people. Tourists can visit and study the long history of the Thai nation here. It is also a great place to relax and enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery.
