We waited for two days before the Changbai Mountain Scenic Area finally opened, and it did not disappoint us. It wasn't as cold as people said on the mountain. Although it was -20 degrees, it didn't feel very cold because there was sunshine and we had to walk up stairs all the time.

The Blue View Hotel where we stayed is not far from the North Slope. There is a free shuttle bus. Tickets must be booked in advance on the mini program, otherwise you will not be able to get on the bus. When we arrived, the scenery on the mountain shocked us. Then we had to walk up a long staircase, or you could choose to take a snowmobile up. It only took us more than half an hour, and we could enjoy the scenery along the way. Although we didn’t go to Tianchi, the waterfall was worth our visit and it was very beautiful. After we got down the mountain, we bought hot spring eggs, three for 10 yuan. We waited in a very long line and finally got to eat them. It was well worth a try. They were indeed eggs boiled in hot springs, very delicious.

When we were going down the mountain, we took a car to Xiaotianchi and Luyuantan. Although it was a bit regretful that we didn't see Tianchi, the other scenic spots were very beautiful.
