3. Fenghuang Old Town (凤凰古城) – Romantic river views, stilted houses, snacks galore. Don’t skip the lantern-lit nights and try the spicy river fish — food stalls rock after dark.
4. Charming Xiangxi (魅力湘西秀) – Grab tickets early for the legendary folk show at the Xiangxi Grand Theatre (Check daily schedules; shows usually start at 19:30, Address: Xiangxi Grand Theatre, Phoenix North Road). It’s a live culture deep-dive with wild dancing, music, and jaw-dropping acrobatics. My tip: Get seats close to the center for the best view!
