Who's really avoiding the Longemont Yashi Hotel?!

✔️ I was a bit nervous before going—not just about Yashi Hotel, but almost every hotel in Longemont Happy Animal Ruifeng and the entire Longemont Resort had many negative reviews warning people to stay away.
✔️ With the mindset that "since none seem great, at least save money," I chose the Yashi Hotel + Circus or Skiing ⛷ package, and it turned out to be amazing.
✔️ Navigate directly to the hotel lobby—it's huge! We arrived around 4:30 PM and had to queue for check-in, but it only took 10-20 minutes.
✔️ Lucky to get a room on the 20th floor with a view of the ancient town, essentially a fireworks-view room. 1 was taken from the room's balcony 🌃.
✔️ The room is a bit small with average layout, but it was clean. With low expectations, I wasn’t disappointed—the value for money, including the free tickets, was great.
✔️ Special shoutout to the butler—responsive, warm, and polite. They even gave us breakfast vouchers and allowed free late checkout until 2 PM. Children's toiletries and slippers were provided at check-in.
✔️ Good location: a taxi to the circus costs under 10 yuan, and it’s a 10-minute walk to Taihu Ancient Town.
✔️ Breakfast is served on the 29th floor—decent selection, including baked pancakes and waffles. Only downside: using vouchers instead of room cards feels outdated.
✔️ The lobby on the first floor has a Lion Garden 🦁 with two big lions.
✔️ At night, the hotel entrance is lined with food stalls offering BBQ and stir-fries 🍺🍺.
Overall, great value for money—unless you have very high standards for accommodation.
