Liaoning Chaoyang Phoenix Mountain | The place where the first bird took flight.

Chaoyang City Phoenix Mountain Tourist Area is located in the eastern part of Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province, adjacent to the central urban area. Covering an area of 67.84 square kilometers, it is bordered by Phoenix Mountain East Foot Village Town Road in the east, Sunjiawan in the south, Lingfeng Street Ring City East Road in the west, and Changbao Yingzi in the north. It is enclosed by a ring road, integrating natural landscapes, historical relics, and cultural landscapes.
Phoenix Mountain is a famous mountain in western Liaoning and a renowned tourist attraction in Chaoyang City. Three ancient pagodas remain on Phoenix Mountain: Lingxiao Pagoda, Moyun Pagoda, and Dabao Pagoda. There are also four temples: Yanshou Temple, Tianqing Temple, Yunjiet Temple, and Huayan Temple. Phoenix Mountain also enshrines the real body relics of Shakyamuni Buddha and Dingguang Buddha, unearthed from the North Pagoda and South Pagoda of Chaoyang, respectively. The presence of two Buddha relics on the same mountain makes Phoenix Mountain even more sacred and spiritual.

Enter the scenic area from the mountain gate and follow the main road to admire the natural scenery along the way.
You can choose to climb to the top of Phoenix Mountain for a panoramic view of the entire scenic area.
Along the way, you can visit attractions. The temples are divided into lower, middle, and upper sections. It takes 3.5 hours to walk the entire route. You can take a sightseeing car downhill.
