❤Recommended reasons:
Jilue Huang Ancestral Hall is a hall of Chaozhou wood carving art. The vivid and lifelike auspicious animals such as dragons, phoenixes, and lions, as well as opera legends and folk stories, are exquisitely carved. The carving techniques include round carving, sunken carving, relief carving, and openwork carving, which vividly express complex multi-layered content. The exterior colors fully utilize three major techniques: black lacquer with gold, polychrome with gold, and plain carving, making the entire building distinct in weight and layers. It is therefore known as "a masterpiece of Chaozhou wood carving."
