Jilue Huang Gong Temple, the best Chaozhou wood carving spot

🌈 As we all know, wood carving, stone carving, and lacquer painting are the "three wonders" of Chaozhou ancient architecture. Jilue Huang Gong Temple, located in the ancient city of Chaozhou, is known as the hall of Chaozhou wood carving art. It is the best of the "three wonders" and represents the highest and finest architectural craftsmanship in Chaozhou‼️

🌟 Jilue Huang Gong Temple is a private ancestral temple built during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. The temple is not large, with two halls and a printing pavilion. The beams of the temple are decorated with various carvings, which are gorgeous and exquisite, and have strong storytelling. Looking up, the ends of the beams are decorated with lifelike auspicious animals such as dragons, phoenixes, and lions, which are breathtaking. The wood carvings under the beams of the worship pavilion are the most concentrated and wonderful part of the whole temple✅

⚠️ It is recommended to read the introduction on the wall or ask a guide to explain it first, otherwise, you may not understand it✅
