Accidental Discovery: Orange Hotel (Chaozhou Ancient City)

Initially, I booked this hotel because it was near Paifang Street. According to a certain map, it showed that parking was available right at the entrance, so there was no need to park at the roadside and take the hotel's shuttle to get there. This is convenient since cars are not allowed to park directly at the entrance of inns within the ancient city.

This was my first time staying at Orange Hotel, and it felt very similar to Atour Hotel. I was pleasantly surprised! They even have a laundry room, though the gym was smaller than I expected. The restaurant is currently not open.

What I appreciated the most was the availability of Type-C and USB outlets. The room layout was very satisfying, and it was incredibly quiet. It’s just a 10-minute walk to Xima Road or Paifang Street. There are plenty of delicious food options nearby. Most of the guests staying here were from Hong Kong, which gave a sense of familiarity.

Highly recommend staying here when visiting Chaozhou!
