Chen Lifu's residence, located at No. 30 Changfu Street, Nanjing (now the dormitory of the Air Force Hospital), was the former residence of Chen Guofu and Chen Lifu in Nanjing. It was built in 1935 during Chen Lifu's tenure in Nanjing . Inside the gate, there is a cement passage leading directly to the two main buildings. Although it was a residence at the time, it was heavily guarded and ordinary people were not allowed to enter without permission.
Chen Lifu's residence was originally a garden-style villa, covering over 3,000 square meters, with a courtyard area of nearly 1,000 square meters, surrounded by numerous thorn and sycamore trees. The courtyard entrance featured a tall iron lattice gate. A gatehouse stood adjacent to the entrance, and a three-story, brick-and-wood Western-style building with a sloping roof served as the office and residence for his secretaries and security personnel.
After entering the courtyard, a cement-paved corridor leads to the main building. The main building consists of two side-by-side western buildings, one three-story and the other two-story, both constructed of brick and wood with sloping roofs. In front of the buildings is a large garden planted with flowers, plants, and fruits.
