I thought there were only romantic trails, but the Audubon Swamp Garden course was a surprising charm of the garden! Walking deep into the wetlands along the log bridge was exhilarating, like exploring the Amazon. Birds chirped among the dense cypress trees, and if you were lucky, you might even spot a small turtle or even an alligator. We were lucky enough to spot a small alligator among the lily pads, and the thrill and amazement of that moment as we both held our breath and watched was still vivid. Even though we were walking on the safe boardwalk, the thrill of the surrounding wilderness was a special experience you can't get from a regular date. The shared experience of exploring the unknown and discovering unexpected wildlife enriched our conversations and enriched our memories. This is an adventurous date course that active couples should never miss.
