Hello everyone,
📍 This rainy season, for those who love trekking, Phu Soi Dao in Uttaradit Province is another trail that offers stunning beauty comparable to other destinations.
🥾 The trail is approximately 6.5 kilometers long. Honestly, it feels much farther when you're walking—"When will we get there?" 🤣
⛰️ The elevation is 1,633 meters above sea level.
🕝 The trekking time is around 4-6 hours, depending on the individual.
The trail has some steep sections, but most of it is relatively flat and gradually ascends. It’s quite exhausting, especially when carrying over 10 kilograms of gear yourself.
At the top, there are bathrooms and showers available, with water sourced from nature—refreshingly cool! There’s also a service point selling omelet rice.
You can hike to the summit of Phu Soi Dao, but reservations are required, and the number of visitors per day is limited.
I must say, visiting during the rainy season—like when I went in August—means rain every day, almost all day. The area is covered in fog, so there’s no view to enjoy except for trees and the white mist everywhere. 5555
Difficulty level for me: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars.
