There is a famous Kyoto tofu restaurant in Kiyomizu Temple Shopping Street - Shunsho, which was founded in 1839 and its main store is in Nanzenji Temple in Kyoto.

The decoration of Kiyomizudera Junzheng is simple and elegant. I went there lazily after lunch time, so there were not many people in the store, so I could enjoy it slowly. I ordered a bean curd pot. The side dishes were charming and delicious, and the bean curd skin was also very fragrant and smooth. However, the bean curd pot had to be eaten layer by layer. The first layer took about ten minutes to heat and form, and then each layer took a few minutes to form. In the end, I didn’t know how long I ate it 🤣

I usually eat pretty fast, but I was able to slowly enjoy my food, which was great!
