What surprised me most during my visit to Okinawa
It is the American Village in Chatan Town🎨🧱

This was the site of the former US military base.
After the gradual withdrawal of U.S. troops
The local government replanned this coastal area
Create a tourist attraction that combines shopping, food, leisure and entertainment🏙️🎡

Walking here is really like walking into a seaside town in a fairy tale~
The building exterior is super colorful
Candy-colored powder blue, coral orange, lemon yellow 🍬🍊🍋
With tropical palm trees 🌴 and retro neon signs 🪧

There are also hand-painted illustrations on some walls🖌️
Like surfing dogs, colorful letter walls, and neon graffiti
Turning a corner is another small universe with a different style✨
