It’s hot in the summer, it’s time to escape from the steaming city and go to Chengde to find some coolness!
Well, I recently strolled to this royal summer resort. Not only did I enjoy the encounter between classicism and nature, but I also unlocked an ancient inn hidden in the downtown area - Chengde Kairen Huafu Inn, which is simply a secluded paradise!

You can go to the Summer Resort as soon as you step out of the door, and you can go as much as you want, and you don’t have to worry about the summer heat anymore! Moreover, it only takes a few minutes to get to the Outer Eight Temples and Qingchui Peak. The transportation is so convenient that I wonder if even the coachmen envy my location!

The quaint two-entry courtyard is the site of the former Kairen Temple, and the full sense of history comes to you. The rooms are named after Emperor Kangxi's 72 scenes. Every time you open a window, it's like opening an exquisite palace painting. I have stayed in "Yanbo Zhishuang". I was awakened by the singing of birds and the fragrance of flowers in the early morning, and talked with ancient trees under the moonlight at night. It was so romantic!

In the morning, I sat by the window, sipping tea and watching the koi carp playing in the water. I felt so leisurely and comfortable, even more comfortable than the emperor. In the afternoon, as I swayed in the hammock and felt the gentle breeze, I seemed to be able to hear the whispers of history. In the evening, I sat with my new friends, chatting, enjoying the aroma of tea, and time passed by leisurely... [Imperial enjoyment, affordable price]
Although this is an ancient royal palace, the facilities are very modern! The room is spacious and comfortable, with a shower and bathtub to wash away a day's fatigue; high-speed Wi-Fi and HD TV provide both entertainment and leisure. Every item is so exquisite, making people feel very fond of it!
