Full of treasures! Chengdu Museum

Chengdu, the first city to prosper in southwestern China (it developed greatly during the Qin Dynasty), has some of the best excavated artifacts. In particular, there are almost no examples of Buddhist statues from the Southern Dynasties that have been excavated and preserved, but here there are a number of Buddhist statues from that time lined up.

Personally, I found the mysterious ceramic doll with legs on a drum interesting.

The museum's collection is so impressive that it's hard to believe it's free, and even though I spent about three hours looking around, I still had plenty to see! It was such a satisfying museum.

🕰️Opening hours: 9:00-17:00 (until 20:00 on Fridays and Saturdays only) Closed on Mondays
