Need a break from the city buzz? This lovely green escape in the heart of Chengdu is completely free to enter — and well worth a wander.

Shaded paths, old trees, and open lawns make it perfect for a relaxing stroll or lazy afternoon. There’s a serene pond in the centre, and if you’re here in summer, look out for the lotus flowers in full bloom — absolutely stunning 🌸

You’ll see locals playing cards, sipping tea, dancing or just chilling under the trees. One quirky corner of the park is the matchmaking zone, where parents proudly display résumés of their eligible kids — worth a peek even if you’re not shopping for a spouse! 😅

Don’t miss the peaceful bonsai garden either — full of intricate miniature trees and photogenic spots for a breather.
