Located on the north bank of the moat south of Jiefang Pavilion, across the river from Agate Spring, the Nine Ladies Spring gets its name from its proximity to the Nine Ladies Tower. The pool is an irregular oval, built with rockery, and is 8 meters long, 5 meters wide, and 2 meters deep. The natural stone embankment extends halfway into the river. Water gushes out from a hole in the rock, forming a rippling bay that flows through the bank into the moat.
Several towering locust trees teem with vibrant life around Longtou Spring. Surrounding the spring are numerous precipitous rock formations. Colorful flowers and plants bloom among the rocks, and bees and butterflies flit among them, adding a touch of life to the spring. As the saying goes, "Mountains cannot function without water, and water cannot function without mountains." Such mountains surround such water, and such water surrounds such mountains. The lush greenery between the mountains and water is truly captivating. Being here feels like entering a poetic painting, inspiring endless reverie.
