📍: Chengdu Qingbaijiang Chengxiang Ancient Town
🚗 For self-driving, it’s recommended to navigate to the area near West Street for parking, then explore on foot.
🚌 Public transport: After exiting Chengdu Medical College Station on Metro Line 3, take bus 679 or 603 and get off at "Chengxiang Passenger Station." The fare is only 2 yuan‼
🏯 Must-visit attractions:
Shoufo Temple: Located next to Jiazhen Park, founded during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. The site is not large, with richly colored and layered architecture. The red wall next door is great for photos. The temple is home only to nuns and female lay practitioners, with few tourists, giving it a somewhat quiet atmosphere.
Xiuchuan Academy: Founded in the Northern Song Dynasty, it is the best-preserved ancient county-level academy in Sichuan. It has an antique charm, and wearing Hanfu for photos here is absolutely beautiful📸.
Wu Temple: With a very long history, its yellow-green glazed tiles are eye-catching. General Guan sits watchfully, driving away all misfortune🤺.
Jiazhen Park: A tranquil environment with a dedicated shrine to General Peng. Strolling here lets you feel the history and peace.
⚠️
Because it is undeveloped and unpublicized, there are no false legends, no noisy crowds, and no invasion of Yiwu small commodities here—only quietness, nostalgia, and a very authentic ancient town life. Truly a healing and relaxing place to unwind.
