🌳 People’s Park Chengdu: A Historic Heartbeat of Sichuan

Located in downtown Chengdu, People’s Park (Renmin Gongyuan) is a vibrant blend of history, nature, and local life. Built in 1911 as Shaocheng Park, it was the city’s first public park, originally part of a Qing Dynasty garrison. In 1950, it was renamed People’s Park and has since become a cultural hub for locals and tourists alike.
