📍Dujiangyan Irrigation System (都江堰水利工程) is an ancient irrigation system built over 2,200 years ago and was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 200.

🌄 Must-see Highlights
• Fish Mouth Levee (鱼嘴) – The dividing point of the river flow into two channels: one for irrigation and another for flood prevention.
• Flying Sand Weir (飞沙堰) – A channel for draining sediment and excess water from the river.
• Bottle-Neck Channel (宝瓶口) – A cleverly designed water channel into the city, narrow like the mouth of a bottle, allowing for just the right amount of water flow.
• Anlan Bridge (安澜索桥) – An ancient suspension bridge once made of wood and rattan. It's now rebuilt but retains its original charm.
• Erwang Temple (二王庙) – An ancient temple built in memory of Li Bing and his son.

🚗 Getting there from Chengdu
• High-speed rail from Chengdu to Dujiangyan takes only 30–40 minutes.
• Tourist bus from Chengdu Chadianzi Bus Station takes approximately 1.5 hours.
• If staying in Dujiangyan District, you can easily take a local bus or taxi to the ancient dam.
