Du Fu Thatched Cottage Implements Social Security Card Ticket Purchase for Admission

The Chengdu Du Fu Thatched Cottage Museum is the first to respond to the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism’s “Social Security Card Museum Tour” program, partnering with Trip.com Attractions & Activities to become a pilot site for this initiative. Through technological empowerment, this collaboration successfully breaks down barriers between government and ticketing systems, enabling real-time and secure verification of social security card identity information. Visitors can directly use their social security cards for real-name ticket reservations, card reading at gates, and QR code scanning for admission, eliminating the need for paper tickets or switching between multiple platforms. This is especially convenient for middle-aged and elderly groups as well as users without smartphones. Over the past year, Du Fu Thatched Cottage has welcomed nearly 7,000 visitors aged 50 and above on the Trip.com platform, accounting for about 10%. During the National Day holiday this year, more than 100 visitors used social security cards to purchase tickets and enter the park, deeply integrating smart tourism with cultural care. Meanwhile, Trip.com and Du Fu Thatched Cottage have jointly established a “Service Volunteer” team. During the National Day holiday, volunteers not only provided traditional inquiry services but also guided visitors in using digital facilities such as the social security card “One Card (Code) Pass,” effectively enhancing visitor satisfaction across all age groups. Come to Du Fu Thatched Cottage and experience convenient, smart travel services!
