Chengdu's Autumn-Exclusive Hidden Gem Accessible by Metro and Bus

Hi everyone! I’m , and I’ve already explored over 70 parent-child hiking trails with my kiddo. Today, I’m sharing a city forest park that our whole family has visited many times.

This place is perfect for letting kids burn off energy! You can hike along the forest boardwalk to breathe fresh air, have fun at the children’s playground, and even catch little fish and shrimp in the shallow water.

Autumn is especially great for “collecting autumn treasures.” From the parking lot, take the boardwalk on the right into the woods, where you can find pine cones, hazelnuts, sour jujubes, mushrooms... We even discovered lingzhi mushrooms! When you get tired, just spread a mat on the lakeside lawn for camping and picnicking, enjoy the breeze and the view. If you’re unsure where to go on the weekend, this place is definitely a great choice~

📍Location: Yong’an Lake Forest Park, Shuangliu, Chengdu
🚇Metro: Take Line 5 or Line 6 to Huilong Station (Exit C), then transfer to S27 bus to Fenghuang Road & Huigu Road intersection, followed by about a 500-meter walk
🎫Admission: Free

As the weather cools in autumn, I’ve dressed my little one in NAUTICA’s fall clothes. I’ve always liked their basics—simple and comfortable, like a white T-shirt paired with sweatpants. It’s an easy outfit to throw on without worrying about styling.

Whenever we go out, I always bring this new Sherpa cotton thermal vest for my kid. It’s super lightweight and folds up to the size of a palm, taking up no space in the bag. Its graphene lining is the key to warmth, locking in body heat and circulating it, keeping warm without causing sweat. It’s perfect for big temperature changes between morning and evening—just throw it on, and no more worries about catching a chill. The best part is it’s machine washable and hasn’t clumped or lost shape after many washes. Now it’s a must-have for school and outdoor activities!

‼️Tips:
✅ The park has dense vegetation and quite a few mosquitoes, so wear long sleeves and pants or apply mosquito repellent in advance
✅ No cycling, pets, or open flames allowed in the park
✅ There are only beverage vending machines inside, no food, so remember to bring some snacks
✅ If you get tired, you can take the sightseeing shuttle for 10 yuan per person—easy and effortless!
