This underrated park in Chengdu gave me a true sense of relaxation

“Wangjiang Tower, Wangjiang River, from Wangjiang Tower, you watch the Wangjiang River flow. The tower has stood for ages, the river has flowed for ages.”

This timeless inscription carved in history allowed me to experience a genuine dialogue across time and space during my National Day trip to Chengdu.

Avoiding the crowded popular spots,
I ventured into this green wonderland surrounded by a sea of bamboo🌿.
The ancient pavilion by Xuetao Well stands silently,
as if still waiting for a kindred spirit to respond with a matching couplet.

No tourist noise, only the bamboo sea surrounding me.
The winding stone path leads deep inside, filled with healing greenery.
Time suddenly slows down here📸.

I especially love that bamboo forest trail,
where sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows.
This lazy, cozy atmosphere truly moves you✨.

The classic combination of red walls and green bamboo,
the moss-covered ancient pavilion,
every corner tells you: this is a place to daydream all day long🍵.

The biggest surprise is that during the National Day holiday, there are far fewer people here compared to other popular spots!
You can clearly hear the rustling of bamboo leaves in the wind,
stand on the viewing platform watching the bamboo sea ripple,
and all your worries are instantly purified by the green🌊.

If you’re traveling in Chengdu and want to find a quiet place,
why not come to this park full of everyday life vibes,
sit on a bench watching the maple leaves gradually turn color,
and feel the laid-back spirit deep in the bones of Chengdu people~
