Chengdu People's Park Chrysanthemum Exhibition Begins

Only the chrysanthemums by the eastern fence can withstand the cold, their golden blooms opening in the crisp morning air. This year's Chrysanthemum Exhibition at Chengdu People's Park has officially begun and will run until November 20. The event features six themed display areas located at the North Entrance Plaza, the Great Lawn, the Central Flower Bed, the Monument Plaza, the South Entrance Plaza, and the East Entrance Plaza. Each area showcases a unique theme and serves as a prime spot for enjoying the chrysanthemums. Personally, I think the floral art exhibition is the highlight, where florists have combined chrysanthemums with other plants to create stunning works of art. Additionally, there is a flower market on-site where visitors can purchase potted chrysanthemums, other flowers, and greenery to take home. While admiring the flowers, visitors can also explore a marketplace set up in the park, offering a variety of cultural and creative products, local specialties, and handmade crafts. For families, there's a large children's playground to keep the little ones entertained.
