I thought Dali was beautiful enough... until I came here...

I thought Dali was already stunning, until I visited Fuxian Lake ☁️
Located in the Cambrian Town near Kunming, it's uncrowded with pleasant ☀️ weather—not too hot.
A 22°C summer perfect for family trips 👧 with ocean themes, water play, and performances 💦. There's a circus, dolphin interactions 🐬, and kids absolutely love it 💕.

🚗 Transportation:
1️⃣ From Chengdu, take the high-speed train to Kunming South Station, then a 1-hour taxi ride.
2️⃣ Take a bus from Kunming South Bus Station to Chengjiang, then a short taxi ride to the hotel.

🏨 Accommodation: Fuxian Lake Dolphin Bay Hotel

🚶 Itinerary:
**Day 1**: Check in at Dolphin Bay Hotel 🐬 → Outdoor hot springs → Circus → Fuxian Lake Carnival Night
**Day 2**: Dolphin show 🐬 & Science Museum → Mermaid performance → Hotel playground → Rainbow Valley Petting Zoo → Return

☀️ **Day 1**:
My daughter had the time of her life 🥳—playing nonstop until she passed out in the hotel 🤣.
🏨 **Hotel**: We chose the dolphin-themed room 🐬 with colorful marine decor—so soothing! There was even a little bed for Lucky, who said she had her own "nest." The hotel had tons of activities: DIY crafts, mermaid shows in the lobby, hula dances, NPCs, clown performances 🤡, and a pool 👧 where she played all afternoon...

💦 **Outdoor Hot Springs**: Coming from Chengdu wasn’t a short trip 😭, but we dropped our bags and headed straight for the hot springs—vibrant colors, cool outdoor weather 🧊. Surprisingly relaxing!

🎡 **Circus**: Started at 8 PM with stunning visuals! Thrilling yet a bit nerve-wracking 🤩—aerial rings, high-altitude spins, and magic shows 🪄. Lucky couldn’t stop laughing at the clowns 🤡 and clapped nonstop 👏.

🎉 **Fuxian Lake Carnival Night**: Fireworks, bonfire party 🔥, night market, torch festival, and magic interactions 🪄. When fireworks lit up next to the Ferris wheel, it was breathtakingly romantic—even I was mesmerized 💕.

☀️ **Day 2**:
We planned to leave today but ended up staying until dark—too much fun, and the weather was too nice to leave...
🐬 **Dolphin Show & Science Museum**:
Caught the 10 AM show after breakfast—got to touch dolphins 🐬 and take photos 📷. Lucky said the baby dolphins were adorable! The science museum had summer guides on reptiles, frogs 🐸, fish 🐟, and more. Lucky pointed at fish she recognized from her books 🥳.

🌈 **Rainbow Valley Petting Zoo**:
Opened on 7/12!! I had to check it out first—so many cute animals! Pig diving 🤣 was hilarious... Red pandas, alpacas 🦙, flamingos 🦩, capybaras, and more. Lucky fed them, took adorable photos, and even tried the rainbow slide—pure joy 🥳.

👭 **Final Thoughts**:
We planned for two days and one night 🌛, but it felt rushed. We ended up staying an extra day 🏨 and exploring more of Fuxian Lake. Honestly, three days and two nights would be more relaxing!
