Charming Historic Stay with Minor Hiccups

Our stay at this centuries-old property was superb. The architecture retains its colonial-era allure while incorporating art deco elements from later renovations, and offering modern luxury comforts. Apart from a slight delay—taking 5 hours to arrange an extra bed that was requested and paid for at booking—the experience was smooth and pleasant. Shaji and Bhaskaran from The Verandah provided outstanding hospitality, ensuring our needs were met. The pool was also enjoyable, although the changing rooms are in dire need of renovation. Despite being clean, they don't match the ambiance of other J Wellness centers I've visited.
