📅 Itinerary
Day 1: High-speed train to Chenzhou West Station. Depart in the morning and arrive before noon. Check into the hotel and drop off your luggage. Grab a casual meal nearby, then call a car to head to Gaoyi Ridge. Enter from the west gate, hike for about 20 minutes to reach the summit, and exit through the south gate.
Day 2: Hire a car to visit Yuntianhu Grassland. If you get carsick, prepare motion sickness medicine as the mountain roads are winding. Depart from the hotel at 9:30 AM, and it takes about an hour and a half to get there. Go on a sunny day; it's not recommended to visit on rainy days due to heavy fog.
Day 3: Stroll around the city. Visit Chenzhou Museum and try local Chenzhou delicacies.
🏨 Accommodation Recommendation: Stay at All Seasons Hotel on Yuhou Street. It's clean.
🍴 Food Recommendation: Yuhou Street has many great food options, including BBQ, grilled meat, Thai cuisine, and Western food at CIAO BELLA 👍🏻
📌 Useful Tips:
- Fat Auntie's Wrapped Duck: Tastes good, but it's too spicy for those who can't handle heat.
- Mangshan is too far; a round trip takes 8 hours. You can only call a car to get there, and there's no direct high-speed train, so we skipped it.
