Two Hours to Weekend Scenery

Yay! Even working people can just take off on the weekend🏃‍♀️
Chenzhou, just a 2-hour high-speed train ride from Shenzhen, is the perfect weekend escape! I went to check it out before the National Day holiday～sharing my lightning-fast weekend healing trip🌤️

🌈Must-visit classic route in Chenzhou:
Chenzhou West Station → Yangtianhu Grassland → Xiaodongjiang River → Gaoyiling
(Three days and two nights is totally enough to enjoy it all!)

1⃣【Yangtianhu Grassland】A real-life version of a Studio Ghibli animation🐑
Ticket: 120 RMB/person (extra experiences start at 30 RMB)
Duration: 3-4 hours
Must-do activities:
✅ Get up close with deer🦌
✅ Check in and take photos at the Hobbit House📸
✅ Horse riding experience (perfect for photos!)
✅ Mongolian yurt & filming location of "Chinese Restaurant"
Tips: Be sure to come on a sunny day! On cloudy days, it’s all fog and you can’t see anything😭

Ticket: 80 RMB/person
Best viewing time: 5-6 AM from April to October
Nanny-level tips:
🔸 Stay near the scenic area so you don’t have to get up early to travel
🔸 Bridge No. 3 is the best spot to shoot the misty Xiaodongjiang
🔸 Remember to bring a light jacket, it’s super chilly in the early morning!

Best time to visit: 3:30 PM to sunset
Must-know tips:
⚠️ Ticket sales stop at 5:00 PM! No entry after 5:30 PM!
⚠️ Wear comfortable sports shoes (a must for hiking)
⚠️ Slather on sunscreen! Bring a hat and sunglasses
⚠️ Bring enough water! It’s inconvenient to buy water inside the scenic area
