A hidden buckwheat flower spot in Cheongju that feels like a fairy tale

It might not be so hidden anymore, but for those who still don't know, here's a secret buckwheat flower spot in Cheongju!

In spring, they plant canola flowers, and in autumn, buckwheat flowers. I've been visiting for three years now, but this year, the owner seemed worried as the crop condition isn't great 🥺. Still, I couldn't give up on this fairy-tale-like buckwheat flower spot, so I decided to visit yesterday when the sun peeked out a little. To my surprise, the flowers were blooming beautifully, and I enjoyed a full view of the enchanting buckwheat flowers.

It's close to the Chujeong-ri buckwheat field, where the buckwheat flower festival is held, so you can visit both spots in one trip. Originally, this space was meant for guests, but the owner kindly opened it to the public. Please make sure to visit respectfully and mind your manners! 🫶🏻
