Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan is one of the oldest temples in Chiang Mai Province. The large and impressive pagoda shows the importance of the temple and the prosperity of Buddhism since ancient times. This temple was built during the reign of King Man Mueang Ma, the 7th king of the Mangrai Dynasty, and is estimated to be at least 600 years old.
