This is the Paranna Spa Old City branch where a huge fern welcomes you. The building looks old, but it is well-maintained. Since it is one of the most famous spas in Korea, I think you can expect a certain level of satisfaction! 🙂 I went inside. I made a reservation for the opening time of 12 o'clock. There were several groups of tourists who arrived before me inside, and they were all Korean. They were talking so loudly that I couldn't help but notice...^^

I filled out my card and followed the masseuse. I washed my feet first and was guided to the room. Most Thai spa private rooms start from double rooms. Even if you make a reservation alone, they will guide you to a double room.
After receiving the massage and changing clothes, the masseuse guided me to the lounge. (There is also an outdoor bathroom, so feel free to use it!) The lounge is filled with various Thai souvenirs. The prices are a bit high, so I didn't buy anything. However, since it is inside the store, it is well-organized, so it would not be bad for those who are in a hurry to buy something. We got a wet towel, warm tea, and rice crackers. Yummy! 😋 I always get massages when I'm full, but it was even better when I got a massage on an empty stomach after a long time. After all, massages are best on an empty stomach! I soothed my stomach with warm tea and snacks and leisurely looked at souvenirs.

In the case of local massage shops, the masseuses tend to be very hit or miss, but at spa shops like Pa Lanna, the masseuses seem to be above average. That's probably why many Koreans use them, right? 🙂 The prices are quite high for Thai massage shops, but if you make a reservation in advance in Korea, you can get promotional benefits, so the prices are reasonable. Plus, the prices are incomparable to Korean spas!! Local massage shops are good, but I'd also like to recommend a healing course at a high-end spa once or twice during your trip. Have a nice trip~!☺️
