Therefore, the tradition of giving alms at night has been created.

Wednesday Full Moon or Wan Peng Put This tradition has been passed down for about 250 years. Before midnight, there will be a Buddhist chanting ceremony in the temple. After midnight on Wednesday, the monks and novices will go out to collect alms.
