🌄 The path of faith: Worship the Phra That Doi Suthep and get a job.

This trip had a coincidence that seemed “not coincidentally” because we started the day by going to pay homage to Phra That Doi Suthep, a sacred place of Chiang Mai, very intentionally. We only wished for a blessing for work, but we never thought that… our wish would come true so quickly! 🙏✨

🚗 We drove up the mountain in the morning. The air was cool and comfortable, the atmosphere was peaceful. When we reached the top of the mountain, we walked up the Naga stairs, more than 300 steps. It was tiring but worth it. When we saw the golden pagoda amidst the thin mist, it was like we were fully recharged. We prayed to the Buddha with determination and prayed for a simple blessing for work… A few days later, the work that was waiting for us was answered!

When our minds were clear, we took the opportunity to invite our mother and family to continue making merit at Wat Umong, an old and peaceful temple with the power of Dhamma. 🍃

🌳 At Wat Umong, the atmosphere is completely different from Doi Suthep. It is a temple surrounded by large, shady trees and there is an ancient tunnel to walk through to pay homage to the Buddha inside. Every step we took was like going back in time. We took our mother to pay homage to the Buddha, take pictures with the old pagoda, and sit and rest under the Bodhi tree. It felt like we were replenishing both our body and mind at the same time.
