Wat Lok Moli

Wat Lok Moli is an ancient temple in Chiang Mai Province, over 500 years old. It was built during the Lanna Kingdom era. It is a beautiful temple. Inside the temple, there is a wooden chapel carved with ancient patterns. The entrance to the temple is made of bricks, curved and has a doorway that is opposite the wooden chapel. Inside the wooden chapel, there is a Buddha statue in the meditation posture, named "Phra Phuttha Santi Chirabom Lokanath" 🙏🏻 for you to pay homage and ask for blessings. The ceiling and pillars inside the chapel are carved with various beautiful patterns. ✨

Inside Wat Lok Moli, there is a large ancient pagoda, also known as the "Wat Lok Moli Chedi" or "Wat Lok Moli Castle-shaped Pagoda". The highlight of the temple is "bathing the Buddha on top of the pagoda". There is a pulley to scoop water and we can pull the pulley up to bathe the Buddha. 💦🙏🏻

Wat Lok Moli is also known for asking for blessings of "love" 💘. People usually ask for blessings of love from "Phra Nang Chirapraphama Devi", who was the patron of Wat Lok Moli when she ruled Chiang Mai. In addition to asking for love, You can also ask for blessings for work, education, and luck.
