Watering the pagoda | Wat Lok Moli | Chiang Mai

Highlights - Wat Lok Moli has an important ancient site, which is a chedi that is over 500 years old. It is an ancient chedi made of bricks in the shape of a castle with sculptures of angels decorating the corners of the chedi. The Fine Arts Department has registered it. After being promoted to a temple, they built a viharn and walls in the Lanna architectural style. They also built monks' quarters at the same time, casting the main Buddha image in the viharn and a statue of Queen Jiraprapa Mahadevi, who supported Wat Lok Moli during her reign in Chiang Mai, so that future generations can pay homage and remember her good deeds.
