Ban Ping Temple

This temple was built during the early period of the Lanna Kingdom, from the reign of King Mangrai to King Saen Muang Ma. Its name, derived from ancient Lanna language, means "blocking" dangers from crossing the Ping River. Due to past threats from wars with Burma, this temple has been revered for over 500 years. Inside the temple, there is a beautiful pagoda showcasing ancient Lanna architecture. It's a must-visit for tourists!
