Night Falls on the Rice Fields

As night comes to Ninh Binh, the stars appear one by one, and the countryside turns peaceful again. Lamps flicker in the distance, frogs sing by the ponds, and the smell of wood smoke drifts through the air. I sat outside my homestay, watching the reflection of the moon on the paddies, feeling a kind of calm I hadn’t felt in a long time. No noise, no rush — just nature and stillness.
