Sri Prakan Ishi, a flea market in an old building in Chiang Mai

Sri Prakas Ishi Market is a flea market located in the Sri Prakas Hotel, a century-old hotel that was one of the first hotels in Chiang Mai. The family's heirs have been working hard to preserve the building for future generations to enjoy. The building isn't open all the time, but it is open during events like craft markets, coffee fairs, and rotating exhibitions, bringing the old building back to life. We visited after the 2024 floods. It's a lovely market with many famous local coffee shops, as well as many Chiang Mai-style handicrafts, bowls, and fabrics.
