Top-notch Stay in Chiang Mai

Perfect spot, outstanding service, cozy room, and the best dining experience! This marks our third visit to Chiang Mai. The previous two times, we stayed at a city resort designed by a renowned Australian architect near the Ping River. While watching the silt-filled river was entertaining, for our third visit, we opted to stay within the old city, allowing us to walk to every historical site instead of using Grab transport. Staying at Tamarind didn't disappoint us. This boutique hotel is both convenient and secluded, offering tranquility. The staff's focus on customer satisfaction was evident as they always found solutions to requests instead of adhering strictly to rules. Notably, the front desk staff Yo, Kiki, and Toni, alongside everyone at the restaurant, were impressive. And the food at their Ruen restaurant! The meals were reasonably priced, offering genuine Thai cuisine without any concern for hygiene. As vegetarians, the chef made sure we enjoyed every dish despite our dietary restrictions. We ended up dining there for 13 out of our 14 nights. The restaurant featured live music every evening, which all diners enjoyed. Housekeeping often goes unnoticed, but their team deserved praise. Throughout my stay, they never missed a single request I had for towels and toiletries. Initially, I was concerned about reviews mentioning persistent mosquitoes. There were mosquitoes, but they were not nearly as bothersome as the aggressive ones by the Ping River. Five stars for this establishment. We will definitely return and encourage everyone to stay here!
