Located north of the Shajiabang Scenic Area, the National Defense Education Park is an activity attraction built by the Shajiabang Tourist Resort to strengthen national defense education, enhance citizens' national defense awareness, popularize national defense knowledge, and enhance visitor participation. The National Defense Education Park covers an area of 130 mu and consists of five sections.
The first is the weapons display, which includes three aircraft, namely the J -5 , J- 6 fighter and J- 6 trainer; two Type 63 and Type 63A amphibious tanks; two 105mm dense howitzers and four 37mm single-barrel anti-aircraft guns.
The second is the Water Battleship Amusement Park, which has a total of 20 water battleships, and the third is the Shajiabang Shooting Sports Center, which consists of an air rifle shooting hall, a paintball shooting playground, and an open-air shooting range.
The fourth is the children's entertainment and adult expansion training area, in which the adult expansion training consists of six interesting bridges, including a ring bridge, a Haihe River bridge, a hurdle bridge, a swing bridge, a cableway bridge, and a suspension bridge, as well as projects such as climbing Mount Everest, three groups of mountain climbing and wading, moving hand in hand, working together, tire swinging bridge, bare-handed rescue, courteous passage, moving in unison, and drilling through electric grids.
The fifth is the outdoor camping tent area, which is an outdoor camp specially provided for camping tourists. It can hold camping, military training, bonfire parties and other activities.
