Peaceful Riverside Getaway

Our group of three adults enjoyed a four-night stay at Cross Riverside in late May and early June. Nestled along the Mae Ping River， this resort is ideal for those seeking a serene escape in nature， while being only a short 10-minute ride from the old city's attractions. Enveloped by expansive grounds featuring trees over a century old， the setting is breathtaking. Most rooms offer views of the river and are adorned with unique art deco designs and spacious balconies. Beginning the day with coffee on the balcony， accompanied by bird songs， or strolling across the expansive lawns to the riverbank is simply delightful. The restaurant provides a Thai-French menu of superb quality， though the room service menu is limited. The staff are exceptionally warm and friendly. Notably， the owner is a vintage car enthusiast， evidenced by two vintage cars displayed on-site， with several more in his collection. Overall， this is among the finest resort hotels in Chiang Mai.
