I stayed at the leisure resort hotel, South Residence, located at 47 Shek Pai Wan Road, South Hong Kong Island. Although it is located in a remote and quiet place, it is very suitable for a leisure and quiet vacation. The decoration of the hotel is simple and the colors are harmonious, giving people a leisurely and relaxing feeling! The reception is in the basement lobby of the hotel. The receptionists here are all young people, and there are usually 3-5 people on duty, unlike some hotels where there are often only 1-2 people on duty. The receptionists here are all very warm and welcoming, and it feels very good and comfortable! The check-in procedure is simple. You only need to pay a deposit of $500 to get the key and go to your room. If you don’t have cash, you can use a credit card. No charges will be made for registration only.
The hotel also holds some free workshops and movie viewings every month, which are suitable for families, parents and young people. They are very healthy and literary activities.
There is a shared kitchen in the lobby, and a dining room on each floor, like some international youth hostels, where you can cook and eat by yourself. The room is average in size, but simple and has everything you need. Although small, it has everything! Another thing I like is that you can watch Netflix and Disney+ movies here, which is very updated! The hotel also has ample other facilities, including a fitness room, yoga room, laundry room, game room, conference room, etc. on the lower basement level. The overall feeling of the hotel is relaxing and comfortable, the price is reasonable, and the cost performance is very high. It is one of my favorite leisure resort hotels.
