This time, I stayed at Baan Suan Residence (เฮือนพักบ้านสวน) in Chiang Mai, and the overall experience was quite pleasant. The property is surrounded by lush greenery, offering fresh air and a tranquil atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for travelers looking to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the wooden architecture gives off a warm, local countryside vibe. Every morning, you wake up to the sound of birds chirping and the sight of flowers and plants outside the window, which is incredibly soothing.

The host is friendly and even provides a daily shuttle service, which is a thoughtful arrangement for travelers without their own transportation. However, the location is indeed quite remote, and during festive periods, it can be challenging to hail a ride. Even if you manage to get one, the fare is higher compared to the city center. If you plan to frequently travel to and from Chiang Mai Old City, you’ll need to plan your transportation carefully.

Overall, Baan Suan Residence is more suitable for travelers who enjoy a serene environment and intend to spend more time relaxing in the accommodation area. If you want to experience a slow-paced life surrounded by nature, this place is an excellent choice.
