Chiang Mai (October) Chiang Dao - Mae Kampong - Muang

This trip lasted 6 days and 5 nights.

Driving our own car wasn't as fuel-efficient as I thought. We went up mountains and down valleys, and only used up one tank.

Day 1 👉🏻 Explore the city center. Baan Kang Wat is a must-see for anyone who loves handmade art.

Continue on to Chiang Dao.
Along the way, we stopped at Asmosphere Cafe, a cute cafe with delicious food and plenty of photo spots.

Day 2 👉🏻 Stay at Hiland Forest View, which offers a variety of adventure activities. On the day we went, we rode an ATV and hiked to Sai Lod Buang Waterfall.

Day 3 👉🏻 Stay at Than Cheewi, a waterfall in the valley flowing through a cafe offering food and drinks. Perfect for relaxing.

Continue on to Mae Kampong🍃

Day 4 👉🏻 Stay at The River Maegampong. We stayed in a glass dome room. It was very beautiful and clean, with a waterfall flowing through it. We were able to continue our journey to Mae Kampong. Across from the hotel, there's a songthaew queue. Chartering a songthaew costs 500 baht per ride, but if you're traveling with two people, you can negotiate a roundtrip fare of 400 baht.

Day 5: Round and Round Cafe: The photo opportunity feels like a Korean cafe, and the photos are stunning.

We ended at Mae Kha Canal, a canal-side walking street.

The final day: Old Chang Moi Road, a must-visit destination in Chiang Mai.

The woven bags at the Rattan Honey Chang Moi shop are located on the corner of Old Chang Moi Road. Next to the Brewginning cafe, the lighting is beautiful, making for great photos.

This trip was so worth it! I got tons of beautiful photos.
