Wat Doi Kham is located on a small hilltop in the Doi Kham area, approximately 200 meters above sea level, in Mae Hia Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District. It is an important ancient temple with a history of more than 1,300 years since the Hariphunchai period. It is the location of the Phra That Doi Kham pagoda, which contains the relics of the Lord Buddha. It is considered another sacred object of Chiang Mai, where tourists and Buddhists continuously come to pay homage and ask for blessings.
