Wat Phra That Doi Kham, Chiang Mai, Thailand

#Thailand Attractions
Wat Phra That Doi Kham is nestled in the forested mountains outside Chiang Mai, Thailand. The temple is believed to have been built in around 687 AD, making it over 1,300 years old, hundreds of years before Chiang Mai was founded in 1296.
Enclosing the Buddha's relics, Wat Phra That Doi Kham is a highly revered site in Thailand, famous for its 17-meter-tall statue of the Buddha clad in a golden robe.
It is a very interesting and charming temple. The hill where the temple is located has a beautiful view of Chiang Mai city and Ratchapra Royal Garden.
There are three large Buddha statues in the temple: standing, sitting and lying. In addition to these, there are many statues and images of gods, hermits and patron saints. #OverseasTravel #ThailandTravelStrategy #ThailandTravel2022 #ThailandTravel #ThailandGoodPlaces #ThailandTravel #BuddhistTemple #Chiangmai #ChiangmaiTravel #ChiangmaiTourism #Mountain #BuddhaStatue
