This morning, we decided to take a Grab round trip from Chiang Mai city for 300 baht to worship at Wat Phra That Doi Kham because we wanted to avoid the hot weather in the morning.

Wat Phra That Doi Kham is located on a hilltop near Doi Suthep, not far from the city. It takes less than 15 minutes to climb up from the foot of the mountain. The atmosphere in the morning is quiet and there are not many people because it is a weekday, so it is comfortable to walk and feel that we can fully absorb the power of faith.

The first place we went to was to pay respect to "Luang Por Tan Jai" who is very famous for having wishes come true quickly, especially in terms of work, luck, and things that we really intend to do.

After that, we bought a Luang Por Tan Jai coin to carry with us for good luck.

And threw lots, which made us smile. It felt like we got a consolation just right.

Walking around the temple was enjoyable. There is a high angle viewpoint where you can see the whole city of Chiang Mai. The morning air is nice and there is a cool breeze, making us feel very refreshed.
