Sunday Walking Street, Thapae Gate, Chiang Mai

Thapae Gate Walking Street is the largest walking street in Chiang Mai. It opens only on Sundays. It opens from 4 pm and continues until 9 or 10 pm. The atmosphere is mostly foreigners. There are many things to sell and they are not expensive. Most of the things to sell are local products. There are food, clothes, bags, and silverware to buy along both sides of the walkway. It is a very long walking street, 2-3 kilometers long. There are local foods for sale and you can eat inside the temple and you can also worship and make merit.
